Teaching Fellowship (TF)
The Teaching Fellowship exemplifies excellence in both teaching and graduate study and constitutes a notable academic honor. The largest responsibility of Teaching Fellows is to serve as the "core faculty" during the Teaching Assistant Orientation Programs. Certificate in University Teaching (CUT)
The Certificate in University Teaching (CUT) is awarded jointly by the Graduate School and the student's academic department. The Certificate is presented either (1) at the Doctoral Dinner preceding the May commencement (doctoral students only), (2) at a department ceremony, or (3) by mail with a cover letter from the primary faculty liaison.
