S.U.P.D.P. Programs
Engineering Education Scholars (EES)

The Engineering Education Scholars Program is a workshop designed to broaden the preparation of advanced graduate students and junior faculty in engineering for academic positions. Co-hosted by Howard University, Syracuse University, and The University of New Hampshire, the goals of the workshop are to work with aspiring or new faculty members in engineering to provide them with strategies and tools to:
  • improve teaching
  • document effectiveness in scholarly life
  • promote reflection about practice
  • begin a plan for on-going professional development, and
  • enhance the ability to communicate to diverse audiences
