Announces the
2008-2009 Graduate Student Public Scholarship Grant
Who:
- Only currently matriculated Syracuse University graduate students are eligible.
What:
- This is a competition to provide a maximum of $500 towards a current project or initiative that applies scholarly work to community outreach. (The work must be conducted between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009.)
- Proposals should not exceed 2 pages (double-spaced, 12-type font) and should include an abstract (100 words or less), a description of the project, and a budget.
- The top five proposals will be selected for the award.
- A brief summary of the project’s accomplishments will be required either on completion of the awarded project or by June 30, 2009.
When:
- Proposals are due electronically by 5 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008 to Derina Samuel at dssamuel@syr.edu. If accepted you will be notified by June 20, 2008, with funds available after July 1, 2008.
