GTC/Videotaping
The Graduate Teaching Consultants (see Services page) are available to assist teaching assistants and associates with any issues they may have with their instructional roles.
One of the most popular exercises utilized during our orientations is 'Microteaching' -- a five minute videotaped and critiqued teaching exercise. Our Graduate Teaching Consultants would be happy to expand this exercise during the academic year by videotaping teaching, instruction or a presentation and offering a critique (if desired). Videotaped teaching sessions may come in handy for portfolio creation, job interviews, improvement of and reflection upon teaching. Call 443-3458 or email taprog@syr.edu to set up an appointment. |
