Portfolios
The Graduate School views portfolio development as an important tool for reflection and an ideal way to provide evidence of effectiveness and competence in both teaching and professional careers. Because professional and teaching portfolios are used in many of its programs, the Graduate School has built a collection of approximately 400 portfolios. Many of the programs' participants have given permission to make their portfolios available. Many disciplines are represented and they are on display for people to see examples of portfolio design and construction. Additionally, there are currently a few electronic portfolios in the library as well. As a resource, some of our graduates students have put together an online resource for creating an electronic portfolio.
While there may not be one correct way to put a portfolio together, viewing many may provide some insight.
